ABOUT US
Hi! I'm Mariana Villas-Boas, a legal linguist based in Zurich, Switzerland.
What does a legal linguist do? I work with the building blocks of the law - language - in many ways: drafting, editing, translating, interpreting and coaching in Legal English.
I was a lawyer for 10 years in top law firms in both London (UK) and Lisbon (Portugal), which means I am well versed in both Common and Civil Law legal systems.
